Drafts – WIPs
Kaity is still working on her Hermione’s Everyday Socks by Erica Lueder in Left Coast Yarns in the Dinner With Eric colorway.
Kris is working on the Windward by Heidi Kirrmaier out of Alisha Goes Around  in the Genevieve colorway. Only 200 more rows to go!
Kris also cast on this morning for Wendy Johnson’s Summer Solstice Mystery Shawl KAL.
Frontlist – FOs

Kaity finished her Daybreak by Stephen West, out of Barking Dog Yarns Opposites Attract in the Catherine and Heathcliff color way. Once it is blocked and has the ends woven in, it will be a gift for her younger sister.
Backlist – Old Knits
Kris showed off her second pair of socks, and the last that she knit on double points, the Yarn Harlot’s Early Grey in Tofutsies for her hubby.
Kaity found her first sock, a Harry Potter inspired anklet in Mini Mochi.  She has yet to knit sock #2.
Group Work – Clubs, Etc.
Kris went on a scavenger hunt to find her yarn for Camp Loopy Project 2, an 800+ yard project in one of the colors found in her flag. She’s planning to knit the Lily Cardigan out of Madelinetosh Pashmina in Ink.
Brainstorming – Stash Enhancement
Kaity spent some of her graduation money on a new backpack for college, a bag of holding from think geek, a Loopy Ewe early birthday gift certificate on some new Chiagoo needles, and got some Knit Picks bare superwash merino/nylon to color with leftover Easter egg dye. Kaity has completed 7 of the 18 Star Fleet Fiber Art Corps missions for this summer.
Apocrypha – Geekery
Kris finished The Glass Castle. It was a quick read, but she probably wouldn’t have chosen to read it if it hadn’t been Kaity’s summer reading book for college.  Kaity hasn’t started it yet. She did find Anne Rice’s new book, The Wolf Gift, at the library this weekend, and has started reading that instead.  Kaity also spent the better part of her week watching and rewatching Thor, which she discovered on Netflix.Kris is also enjoying the Concierge option in Songza, a music service similar to Pandora, but without the audio ads.
